|
Hong Trung Dung
Cohort 2008
- I nominate Dung simply because I prefer action to talk, and he is a real action man. He silently did many things for our community, and always produced good results. - Having been knowing him for more than 2 years at Purdue, I see Dung Hong very responsible not only in work but also from personal perspective. He was working as the chair of the conference planning committee 2010, a sucessful conference, and now contribute as the chair of VEFFA award committee. Supportive, visionary, careful, managing work smoothly, it is more than difficult to find a reason not voting for him this year.(by Dat Le, 2009)

Don't take my words on this, experience all the social activities that Quang and his group organize at the coming conference and you will understand.

Nguyen Trung Kien
Cohort 2008
- Kien Nguyen was a key member of the IT team. He also served the Board of Representatives 2010. For the most recent years, he was the man behind the core technology of VEFFA Award, VEFFA online voting, and other campaigns. People in computer science knows that building a website and fixing the errors is a daunting task, but he has been doing it with joy.
|
Nguyen Tien Dat
Cohort 2006
- Dat Nguyen was the team leader of the All the Ways Home 2010. It was considered as one of the most successful sessions VEF conferences ever have. He continued his work as Board of Representatives member in 2010, and was the Chair of the Conference Planning Committee 2011. The expectation was high, but he managed it with style. That conference was wonderful in many ways. He was nominated for the Service Award 2011, but it was a bit unfair for him since people can only see his work at the conference, which was well after the award decision.
